1. What is the difference between Hardware and Software?

Ans:

Hardware	Software
Hardware are the physical components of computer. you can touch and see all parts of hardware	Software is a set of instructions that tells hardware what to do. These programs are shown on desktop in the form of icons. Icons are the small picture present on your desktop to represent your program file. You cannot touch or feel the software.
Hardware can be further classified as: 1. Input devices 2. Output devices 3. CPU	There are two types of software 1. Application Software 2. System Software

 

 

2. What do you mean by system software?

Ans: System Software : When you start your computer the first software to run is system software. All application software runs on system software. System software controls and manage your computer. One of the most popular examples of system software is OPERATING SYSTEM. As we already read about it in chapter 1. Other examples are

Windows7, linux, Window 8 .

 

3. How many types of software are? Write their name with example.
