Ans: To apply a text effect to a WordArt style:

Step1 :  Select the text you want to modify. The Format tab will appear.

Step 2 : Select the Format tab.

Step 3 : Click the Text Effects command. A menu of options will appear.

Step 4 : Select a menu option. The options are Shadow, Reflection, Glow, Bevel, 3-D Rotation, and Transform. Each will display a submenu.

Step 5:  Click an option from the submenu to select it.

 

3. Write the ways to insert sound clip in your presentation.

Ans: To insert a sound from the clip organizer:

Step 1 : Select the slide where you want to add sound.

Step 2 : Select the Insert tab.

Step 3 : Click the drop-down arrow on the Sound command in the Media Clips group

Step 4: Select Sound from Clip Organizer from the menu. The Clip Art task pane will appear.

Step 5: Enter keywords in the search field.

Step 6:  Click Go. Clip art sound results will appear in the task pane.

Step 7:  Click a sound file in the task pane to insert it. A sound icon and a dialog box will appear.

Step 8:  Click Automatically or When Clicked. Automatically will start the sound automatically as soon as the slide appears in Slide Show view, while When Clicked will start the sound when you click.

 

4. What is the use of rehearse timing in the presentation?

Ans: Rehearsing timings can be useful if you want to set up a presentation to play at a certain speed without having to click through the slides to present it.

 

5. How you can add movie clip from clip organizer?

Ans: To insert a movie from the clip organizer:

Step 1: Select the slide where you want to insert a movie clip.

Step 2 :  Select the Insert tab.

Step 3 :  Click the Movie command in the Media Clips group

Step 4:  Select Movie from Clip Organizer from the menu. The Clip Art task pane will appear on the right.

Step 5:  Enter keywords in the search field.

Step 6:  Click Go. Movie clips that meet the keyword search will appear in the task pane.

Step 7:  Click a clip to insert it. The clip will appear on the slide.

A database stores vast amount of data, but queries help us to retrieve the filtered data based upon some conditions. Queries are also used to perform actions, such as delete, update, on the data , based upon some criteria (conditions).
