1. What is the use of Mail Merge?

Ans: Mail merge is an important feature of MS Word which enables you to combine a document with a data file. By using mail merge feature you can send the same letter to a number of persons without retyping the matter of letter again and again.

 

2. Write the steps to open mail merge.(step - 3)

Ans: Choose Mailing Tab click start Mail Merge and click Step by Step Mail

Merge wizard.

 

3. Write the steps to print your mail merge document.

Ans: Print a Merged Document

Steps to print a merged document

Step1. Choose Mailing tab and Click on Finish and Merge button. Drop down box

will appear.

Step2. Choose Print documents. A box will appear.

Step 3. Select the desired option. Click ok button and get the hard copy of your

document.

 

4. Write the steps to preview your document.(step-11)

Ans: Now click on Preview Result on Mailing Tab to preview your recipient list. To

see more recipients click on GO TO Record Navigation Bar as shown in

figure.
