2. The Microsoft Excel FACT function returns the factorial of a
number.
3. CHAR function returns the character based on the ASCII VALUE.
4. The syntax for the NOW function is = NOW ( )
5. The Syntax for the CHAR function is CHAR(
ASCII_value )
B. Write a
note:-
1. Fact Function
Ans: The Microsoft Excel FACT function returns the factorial of a number.
The FACT function is a built-in function in Excel that is
categorized as a Math/Trig
Function. It can be used as
a worksheet function (WS) in Excel.
2. Count
function
Ans: Use the COUNT function to get the
number of entries in a number field that is in a range or array of numbers. For
example, you can enter the following formula to count the numbers
in the range A1:A20: =COUNT(A1:A20). In this
example, if five of the cells in the range contain numbers, the result is 5
C. Short Answer
question
1. Define Ms
Excel functions.
Ans: A function is a predefined formula that
performs calculations using specific values in a particular order. Excel
includes many common functions that can be used to quickly find the sum,
average, count, maximum value, and minimum value for a range of cells.
2. Explain these
Functions with suitable examples:-
1. Fact()
Ans: The Excel FACT function returns the factorial of a given
number. For example, =FACT(3) returns 6,
equivalent to 3 x 2 x 1. number - The number to get the factorial of.
2. Char ()
Ans: The Excel CHAR function returns a character when given a valid character code. CHAR can be used
to specify characters that are hard to enter in a formula. For example, CHAR(10) returns a line
break on Windows, and CHAR(13) returns a line
break on the Mac
3. Date/ Time
Ans: To enter a date in Excel, use the "/"
or "-" characters. To enter a time, use the ":" (colon).
